The First Ever...Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art Show

We did our first ever Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art Show in November 2007. We combed the globe for the funniest, strangest sexiest work produced at our branches around the world. We then hung the 17 finest artists, illustrators and photographers at East Village art mecca Rapture. Hundreds of people graced our opening, and we received coverage from the NY Post, Fleshbot, and the Channel 11 morning news.
We can't wait to do it again next year!
You can see the art shown below. We did an audiance choice contest, with a costumed suffregette counting the votes. Katherine Piro won first place, with Jason Levesque in second and Michelle Ryan in third.

November 21- December 20th @ Rapture, 200 Avenue A, New
York City. Opening Party on Tuesday, November 27, 7-10 PM with living art by Amber Ray, Gal Friday, Lady J, and perverse portraits done on the spot by Amanda Pearson.
