The *100th Session* of Dr. Sketchy’s Baltimore is Monday, February 10th with Nona Narcisse and Jason Moffett!
100 sessions. That’s nearly 6 years of Dr. Sketchy’s Baltimore—300 hours of drawing, 600 hours of keeping the train on the tracks and shoving chairs around, and 2178 hours total (that’s including working on flyers, booking models, etc.) that Alexis and I have spent keeping the wheels turning on this runaway cart.
When we started this, we honestly had no idea what we were getting into. If we’d had the faintest idea how big it was going to get, we probably would have run like a dog out of a butcher shop with a string of sausages in his mouth. We really, truly,
The first Dr. Sketchy’s Baltimore of 2014 is Monday, Jan. 27th with Candy del Rio!
We're catching up on Dr. Sketchy's stuff between plates of turkey—here's the recap video of Mourna Handful's October badass session, which as a bonus, has, for my money, one of the best stinger clips of all time.
We're finally catching up on Dr. Sketchy's Baltimore's backend--first up is the recap video for our session in August with The Lady Satine. She was pretty goddamn amazing--you should take a peek.
Don't forget, our next session (only two left this year) is Monday, Nov. 11th (tomorrow) with KiKi Allure!
KiKi Allure is back folks! She posed last December to a packed house—and it was packed for a damn reason. If you weren’t there, watch this two minute video—and if you were there, you should take a look anyway.
Did you watch it?
Look, that video does a better job of ballyhooing than anything I could ever scribble here.
Honestly. Just go click it.
Now tell me you don’t want to draw her—no, I’m serious, do it. I’ll call you a liar and slap the daylights out of ya.
Oh yeah, and look at that flyer—I’m willing to bet a whole bunch of donuts you’ve never gotten to draw an outfit like that before.
Now, I know our audience is split right
In town for Baltimore Comic-con on Saturday, September 7th? Looking for somewhere to get some drawing in and maybe bend an elbow at the bar with like-minded folks? Or maybe you just want do something different and get a drink with interesting folk away from the touristy Inner Harbor?
Screw the hotel bar and its forever line to get a drink. We're more fun.
Maybe you're not from out of town, maybe you've not been able to make it to Dr. Sketchy's Baltimore yet because it's on a Monday night, or maybe you're one of our loyal regulars who've always wished Dr. Sketchy's wasn't during the week so you could stay out just a "little longer" without your boss firing your ass.
