Due to a scheduling conflict with our venue we will be changing our Punta Gorda event to the LAST Wednesday of the Month. I'm working on updating all the various websites with schedules posted so if you catch something somewhere that I missed let me know!
Wednesday, August 3rd we held our event at the fabulous Torch Bistro in Punta Gorda. Our Muse for the evening was the uber-talented Angela Hicks. She dazzled us with a series of poses that while reviewing the photos from the night, its hard to believe she was standing still and not mid-dance. As promised Angela's style, a fusion of cultural dances and the influence of her own gypsy heritage where evident in her poses. The props will included her sharp-double

We had so much fun the first time around, we’ve decided to do it again! Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School is Invading the Fort Myers Art Walk!
Come Draw with me! Artists of all skill levels welcome and encouraged! We will be having an informal Dr. Sketchy Event in front of the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center in the Downtown Fort Myers River District…We’ll be doing 5 minute poses during the Art Walk. Bring your art supplies (iPads/iPods Welcome) and lets meet up for a little impromptu sketching session. I’ll be bringing some extra paper and pencils for anyone who feels like just stopping by.
This will be a free event but I will be putting out a Tip Jar so anything you can throw in will

Laaaaaaaadies and Gentlemen, Artists and Photographers, Art Monkeys of all ages…Thank you to those who joined us for the Amazing…the Spectacular…the SKETCHIEST Event in South West Florida! Our theme was the Big Top Circus and the spotlight was on our “Ringleader” for the evening was the enchanting Sheina Fae.
Once again, Dr Sketchy’s SWFL was able to out do ourselves in what many of our Art Monkeys are haling our best Sketchy Session yet! If you were unable to make it this month, you certainly missed a good one…in fact, since we keep out doing ourself, you just might want to save the date for May!
Not only was our model Sheina Fae full of great poses for us all the sketch, she was also
Welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, well....my little droogies, let me tell you this..we sat in the Torch Bistro trying to make up our rassoodocks what poses to draw for evening. We indulged in fine foods and imbibed the finest of wines and mixed drinks...a touch of milk....all this would sharpen us up and make us ready to draw a bit of the old ultra-violence.
Kevin Keys took on the persona as charismatic delinquent Alex DeLarge in a Tribute to Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange! Through his poses he told of the adventures of a young man...who couldn't resist pretty girls...or a bit of the old ultra-violence...went to jail, was re-conditioned...and came out a different young man...or
