In honor of the release of "Volver" and our neighbor "Love Shines", Dr. Sketchy's went south of the border this weekend with the spicy Lady J.

Hat provided by Syd Bernstein. Photo by Ryan ROman. Unbearable sexiness by Lady J. I put this hat on her in "honor of her hertiage" to which Molly turned around and said "actually she's Greek." Bah, you swarthy meditarrian types are all the same! With your olive oil and cockfighting! Give me boiled cabbage and harsh Prodestant work ethics any day.

Dr. Sketchy's got written up in oh, about a billion media soucres recently, so attendance was at Fire-Code violating levels. Remember little Art Monkeys, we start at 3pm and it's usually

Welcome to Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art GHOUL. In honor of this, our most scared of holidays, we invited the gothtackular Theada B to pout, scowl, and gloom up the place…with sexiness. And candy corn. Lots of candy corn.

Vampira ain't got nothin' on her.

Molly was out "Having the surgery", so we all hope to see more of "her" next week. Luckly, I was drunk enough to provide hosting duties. I know, I'm selfless.

She wore an itsy-witsy teeny-weenie tiny black bat bikini to Dr. Sketchy's for the first time today….

It's cold and flu season here in Our Fair City, so we at the Anti-Art school sent for a Doctor to make a house call. Dr. Lukki, that is, the hardest working Ph.D in burlesque!

Dr. Lukki was a florid explosion of traditional burlesque flair, right down to the T-slippers. You can just imagine Stanford White going crazy for her.

"Primavera demands sacrifice! Rites of Spring! Rites Of Spring!"

The view from the stage.

A view of the stage and a view of Dr.

One good photograph deserves another. More amazing shots of Ms. Amber Ray from Art Monkey Ryan Roman's faithful camera.

Come visit us next week when Dr. Lukki will be at Dr. Sketchy!

Before we get into this, perhaps some introductions are in order. Hello! My name is Syd. This is what I look like without clothes on:

Your usual blogger John Leavitt is a creature of the night whose ways are known only to mystery. Sometimes he will inexplicably vanish, leaving no trace, and when that happens, I have to fill in as doorboy/blogger for Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School (New York Chapter). If I had to venture a guess, I would say he was probably staked out in front of his local record store

The sinister mole-men who control the weather at the center of the Earth have finally turned NYC's dial to "mild". Thank god, as Dr. Sketchy's was white hot this saturday. The girl with the biggest talents in showbiz, Lady Rygel, did strut and fan-dance into our hearts. We had some amazing prizes from Engravingshack.com and a pre-released book of dirty, dirty comics. The Lucky Cat now features tasty pizza and a full brunch menu so we got some food ontoo of all that alcohol. But why talk about it when you can look at it? All photographs by Ryan Roman, super genuis.

After a slight flub with the cd-player, Lady Rygel did do a Fan dance to open the session. A Fan dance to The Cure.
