Tribute to a Nightmare Before Christmas

As huge movie buffs and lover of dark things, it seemed only natural to dedicate a session to the awesome film that is a Nightmare Before Christmas.

We start of with the gorgeous Sally

Sally likes: worn out dresses, tall dark men and long walks on the beach.

Followed by our handsome Jack Skellington

Last, but certainly not least, we are proud to present Dr.Finkelstein

If you are not familiar with the story, Sally is Dr.Finkelsteins creation. ie she is his bitch.

Alas, the heart wants what the heart wants

Which didn't go over so well with the doctor

Jack quickly found a solution to their little problem, and gave Sally a bottle of poison (which in reality is a bottle of anti-bac. sanitation is important, kids!)

"oh hey mr.Finkelstein, why don't you have some lovely, not-poisonous soup? it's delicious"

Little miss mischief

This is also where we had our first competition, which was "best incorporation of a christmas theme". here's the winning picture:

Jack flaunting his stuff. In the words of austin powers: yeah, baby! yeah!

Dr.Finkelstein wasn't too happy about the attemptive murder. Which made Sally see a side of him she had never seen before

But being his bitch wasn't exactly something she wanted to go back to. so she made him his bitch instead.

which leads us to our last competition, which was best incorperation of a banana.

oh, and jack too.

That's it for the poses. Look, people came to our show! Yay!
All glory to the art-monkeys who support dr.sketchys!

Thanks again to Garage for having us. We wuv them very much.

Despite living in a rainy city, we were all feeling the summer vibes when Bergens second dr.sketchy session hit town! The theme: Faeries (and a drunk hillbilly)

Buttercup carelessly picking flowers while evil lurks around..

Billybob the hillbilly.

as most of you may know, every party has a pooper and in this one there was Pricilla, that evil skank just couldn't leave poor Buttercup alone, so she gave Billybob the means to catch her..

Evil never wins though, right? Before we knew it Buttercup broke loose from her chains and showed those two evil-doers who was boss!

... and made them her bitches...

Circus!

Bergen had it's first Dr.Sketchy session april the 26th and thanks to our wonderful helpermonkeys it was a huge success!

Our first theme was CIRCUS and our models were nothing short of fabulously dressed as a circus director, a panther and a parrot. And thanks to our photographer Wenche Irene Berentsen we're able to share this magical event with you!

The night started off with Fernando (our very handsome circus director) and his pet, Alexia.

after awhile Fernando grew tired of Alexia and opened his eyes to another beauty (men, huh?)

but Fernando quickly learned that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

but in the end Alexia the panther and Tallulah the parrot realized their love was for eachother, poor Fernando.

In the middle of all of this we had great entertainment by some instructors from local dance studio called Steg dans og Trening, they really set the mood for the evening and were simply amazing. They were even kind enough to pose for our artists;

Congrats to Toschie for winning 2 out of 3 contests, maybe someone dare take his throne on our next session in June!
