The glorious blue eyed, crimson lipped, and large lunged (pun intended) Simone Page Jones will be gracing us with her award winning persona - the foul tempered, loud and petulant Russian cabaret diva Sveta Dobranoch. After winning the Spinning Wheel Award - Best New Cabaret Artist, Sveta went on to tour with Strut and Fret’s ‘A Company of Strangers’, picking up The Advertiser Award in 2009 and was later nominated for a 2010 Helpmann Award.

This multi talented Vamp is also a composer, writing songs for Melbourne based band Clairy Browne and the Bangin Rackettes, and her country-folk duo act with Miles O’Neil. Her most recent theatre credits include The Blacklung’s ‘Glasoon’, Hayloft Project’s ‘Delectable Shelter’ and ‘The LoveBirds’, an original cabaret work devised, written, composed, directed, choreographed and performed by Simone herself as part of the 2011 Melbourne International Arts Festival, which also recently toured to Adelaide as the headline act in the Spiegeltent, Garden of Unearthly Delights.

The next session in Amsterdam will be on 20 July, we're not sure about time and venue yet.

Bon Bon Rocher kicked off our session with her Living Doll routine, first starting off all ruffles and lace, and then revealing an ultra sassy side and costume.

We had wonderful pictures for the competition - draw on a lolly wrapper.  It was quite a challenge to draw on the miniscule waxy Minties wrapper.

Honey Suckle then treated us to her ultra cute, ultra sweet, Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini

There was some super double posing from our lovelies.

It wasn't determined who was the winner of the fight, but the artists won by getting some amazing poses and prizes (from Calico Jacks, Dittybox, Caburlesque, Baby Tattoo Books and other amazing places)

Mayven MissBehavin and June Vega were phenomenal at the Dr. Sketchy's St. Pete Grand Opening Extravaganza! There were performances, fabulous prizes, and hours and hours of posing. Taffeta Darling was fantastic this month for our comic book pinup session. As always she brought some great costumes, getting us all ready for the Dallas Comic-con coming up and giving us an action packed session straight out of the pulpy comic fanboy imaginations. Next up we have a FREE session for all you loyal artists. We want to give a little something back to the great artists that attend and give some new people a free taste of what to expect from Dr. Sketchy so we're setting up shop at an outdoor park with Becca Blood. Come join us outdoors and enjoy the fresh air with some fresh poses by our lovely model, courtesy of your local chapter of  Dr. Sketchy's anti-art school.

Bon Bon Rocher - 'sweeter than chocolate' is taking a break from her busy schedule to come pose and perform in her sensuous and funny style. Bon Bon won Miss Congeniality at Miss Burlesque NZ 2012, so we know for a fact she is as sweet as her tagline indicates. Bon Bon has performed at Carousel Cabaret, Red Delicious Revue, Caburlesque and Frolic Lounge and now will grace the Dr. Sketchy Stage.

And to make things even more sweet, Honey Suckle will delight us with her shy and expressive antics. Honey is no stranger to Burlesque stage, performing and graduating Miss la Belle's House of Burlesque, in Frolic Lounge in 2011. You too will fall in love with her coyness.

Hello, Art Monkeys.

It has come to my attention that you kids these days with your TV and your video games and your talkies and your podcasts simply aren't reading enough. We here at Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School are doing our part to encourage literacy by hiring model Raquel Reed. Kate Black took photographs.

Although it is not made of real leopard skin, PETA disapproves of Raquel's dress because it is essentially the leopard equivalent of blackface.

Raquel trades in her dress for a pair of gloves. I wish more women made this decision.

It has come to my attention that Raquel's surname is not spelled the same as the verb "read," so this session actually did nothing to promote literacy. However, it did raise awareness for our nation's imperiled wetlands. I hope those of you who have stopped to ponder what the hell I'm talking about will also consider what you can do to help.
