Alternative performers Severin Stargher and Erica Furness paired up as a glamorous, mischievous, vampire duo at our October 3rd, Halloween session. All photos are courtesy of Jeffrey Adam Danyleyko.

Returning as our Monster of Ceremonies was the ubiquitous Canadian Wolfman. There is no finer connoisseur of monster puns, B-movie schlock, and burlesque.

Severin revved up the evening with a Queen of the Damned inspired burlesque strip.

(Pssst! In addition to modelling, Severin is the Editor-In-Chief of Art Katalyst Magazine. They are always accepting art submissions!)

Then, Erica Furness warmed up the artists with a series of gestures. With her long hair, flowing dress, and severely high boots, Erica served wasp waisted, Plan 9 glamour.

Severin knows how to rock a cape.

For the first art contest of the night, we challenged the artists to come up with the best Vampire Pop Culture Reference. Some highlights included Bart Simpson saying 'Don't bite a cow, man' and Kim Kardashian's vampire facelift.

Severin and Erica posed with Count Chocula and Franken Berry for Art Contest #2: Best Incorporation of a Cereal Mascot. The winner was a close tie between two drag queen interpretations of the girls. The winner received something edible (and wearable) from our new local sponsor The Condom Shack.

After the intermission, Canadian Wolfman continued rapidly shooting off one liners, groaners, and filthy jokes. He had a great joke about a bunch of bats you had to be there to hear.

Nearing the end of the night, the host came up with a B-movie inspired Vampire Women vs. Wolfman pose. Impressively, they held this pose, facial expressions and all, for fifteen minutes.

As the night drew to a close, we capped it off with our final, and favourite art contest. Everyone was invited to share their drawings from the session. The models picked their favourite to win a gift certificate from Curry's Artists Materials.

Thank you to everyone for a great night! See you back on Friday, November 7th!
