If you have no time for geeky bullshit, you may be unaware that Detective Comics is undergoing a "reboot," overhauling their classic characters with a fresh edge for the 90's. Wait what decade is it again? Ah, close enough. Anyway, in the deplorable Suicide Squad #1, we saw the new Juggalo-styled Harley Quinn and felt kind of queasy. How refreshing, then, that at the last session of Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School, Lucy Sky Diamond, Tasmania's Bonfire on Legs, came dressed as a Pierrette doll, and showed everyone how to do a gender-flipped Commedia Dell'Arte character right. The marvelous Kate Black took photographs.

We will be at the Asbury Park Zombie Walk http://www.njzombiewalk.com/ the weekend of October the 21st through the 23rd. We will be doing a few mini sketchys in Convention Hall. Come sketch some zombie models! This is a free event. Times of the sketchys will be forthcoming.

Team Sketchyjunction is already getting geared up for our October 26th session, Zombie Attack! (Now with More Zombies!) A friend of the team, Dan Jensen of Jensen PhotoArts made us an absolutely fantastic poster for the event, and we're currently in the costume-designing stage. Instead of our usual two models, we really wanted to have a zombie hoard (hence the "more zombies" tagline) so we've hired four great models for our cadre of artists to draw. Additionally, we have the lovely and extremely talented toni atari booked as our entertainment for the night. You won't want to miss this death life-drawing
