Burlesque dancer and performance artist Obskyura was featured at the first incarnation of Dr. Sketchy's Toronto. When we relaunched the Toronto branch this year, Obskyura came highly recommended by former organizer Brett. We gave her a theme: over the top, pop star decadence. We gave her a red velvet chair and a hot pink AK-47. The rest was all her.

Back at the mic was Bianca Boom Boom as the evening's emcee. She took the pop star theme and shone bright like a sequin.

Take a look at these two recent Dr. Sketchy's Baltimore sessions.
The first was our 6 year anniversary with Sophia Sunday...
The next is a pretty amazing session with Dolly Longlegs...
The last Dr. Sketchy's Baltimore of 2014 is Monday, December 8th with Buster Britches and special guest host, Valeria Voxx!
It's the last session of the year folks and we're saving one of the best for last. Alexis and I have been running into Buster Britches for years, be it at the Asheville Burlesque & Sideshow Festival every spring, or at shows in the DC and Baltimore area when some lucky folks were able to lure him up from Richmond. One of the reasons—and this is the God's Honest Truth—we had a burlesque show at our wedding's after-party was to have Buster perform for our friends and family—and he didn't
The red hot burlesque duo Pastel Supernova and Kage Wolfe give us their take on the Nutcracker on Friday, December 5th. Both Pastel and Kage are incredibly skillful and ridiculously good looking dancers. They'll be dusting off their tiniest tutus and fanciest fishnets for our drawing pleasure.
Although it's a Christmas theme, we won't be playing any Christmas music. We promise.
Showgirl chanteuse Bianca Boom Boom returns as the evening's emcee. There will be three wacky art contests with prizes sponsored by The Condom Shack, Curry's Artists' Materials, and Round venue.
Friday, December 5th, 2014
Round venue. 152A Augusta Avenue, Toronto
Doors at 6 pm. Drawing from 7 to 10 pm.
