On the first night of August, connoisseurs of dames, drinks and drawing gathered at The Warehouse for Dr. Sketchy's Tainan's first event! We were graced by the ethereal presence of Caecilia Moondust, Tainan's own model and fire dancer. Caecilia started the night with a Greco-Roman theme, posing with her fire discus for short periods of time to help the artists warm up!
Halfway through the evening Caecilia put on a glow show with her glow poi, before changing costumes again and starting the longer poses of the evening.
Next Dr. Sketchy's Baltimore is Monday, August 10th, with Sophia Sunday of Gilded Lily Burlesque!
Sophia Sunday is leaving Baltimore! There are lots of rumors why—so far, I've heard a deal went bad involving waterfront property on Pratt and a truck of Cuban rum, a found map purporting to reveal the location of One-Eyed Willie's second stash, and a knife-fight at a recent Gilded Lily practice that she settled with a pistol all might be reasons for her departure.
Who. Knows.
Sophia was our model for our sixth anniversary last year, so it goes without saying that she comes at ya' like a Greek muse with a pair of brass knuckles, a belly full of liquid courage, and the
Bombshell pin up model, antique connoiseur, vintage clothing seller, and Instagram cutie Steffi Kay posed for us on Friday, July 3rd. Steffi was a class act, bringing a touch of retro sophistication and leading woman good looks.

To begin the evening, Steffi was a detective hot on the trail of a jewel thief.

Toronto go-go dancer Carmen La Bomba will be heating up your sketchbooks in a tribute to music icons Gene Simmons and Slash. Carmen ain't no demure calendar girl; she's a red hot spice rack who dances dirty and parties like a rock star. Come rock out and draw Carmen in her tiniest costumes - air guitar included!
There will be three wacky art contests with prizes sponsored by The Condom Shack, Currys Artist Materials and Round venue.
