Sunday 13 April, Dr Sketchy’s Melbourne held 4 pop-up sessions on the lawns of The State Library of Victoria to celebrate Viva Italia!

A magnifico day of free activities dedicated to Italian culture at the Library, inspired by Italy’s centuries’-old tradition of the family scampagnata (picnic). There’ll be folk music, bocce, life drawing with Roman gods, tours in Italian of Rome: Piranesi’s vision, Lego monuments to build, lots of food and lots of fun!

Dr Sketchy’s has always prided itself on bringing you the most beautiful and creative muses for your sketching pleasure.

On Friday, April 4th, the devilishly handsome Dew Lily stripped out of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer costume. There was deep fried Mars bars on the menu and Stompin' Tom Connors on the playlist. Burlesque stand up comedian Gracie Klutz told Canuck jokes while rocking a toque with short shorts. Oh, Canada!

Unfortunately, Kassandra Love is no longer available to pose on Friday. However, the blonde, buxom, and very bendable St. Stella was able to fill in last minute. St. Stella will be dressed as Little Red Riding Hood and as a can can dancer. The poses are going to be impressively flexible. Like, sideshow attraction flexible.

Voluptuous ginger Red Herring returns as the emcee. Expect sarcasm and cleavage for days. Stick around after the show for half price admission to a can can fundraiser!
