Ok, so theres something I should tell you.... Theres a *new* branch in town! CHESTER's FIRST Dr. Sketchy's Branch as run by moi ~Madame Ex of Dr. Sketchy's North Wales fame :D Ahem. I may be getting ahead of myself... It really is thrilling for me as if I wasn't involved in putting on a Sketchy night I'd sure as s**t be there a-sketching! Its really brought a new fun night out to the whole area and I'm just so happy to be a part of the Sketchy revolution. Yep - we're branching out! Its been an odd few weeks but one rainy bank holiday Monday those rather fabulous folks over at Goldust Burlesque Ball & MBNA Chestival Vaudaville Weekend are bringing the sensational Amber Ray all the way over from NEW YORK city! Woweee! What a fair treat indeedy! Chatting away in the new Tiki bar - Waikiki (66 Watergate Street, next to Guildhall) - we thought it the perfect place for Amber's lotus flower act. Just you wait and see! The walls have painted vistas of Hawaii at sunset and early morn with a large Tiki carving in the middle of the room, the perfect setting then for this wonderful performer.
