Thu, August 12, 2010 • Dr. Sketchy’s at the Brooklyn Museum
This Saturday, August 14th, from 2-4pm the Dr. Sketchy's NYC group will be at the Brooklyn Museum putting on a very special life drawing class!
Featuring models Dame Cuchifrita and Delysia La Chatte, we will be doing a tribute to Andy Warhol, dressed as Warhol superstars.
Our event has been covered by the NY Post (article here) and promises to be a fantastic time!
Taking place from 2-4pm, Molly Crabapple will also be giving a lecture on figure drawing, including anatomy and gesture during the session.
Guests are required to register online at the Brooklyn Museum website or in person as the Museum's Visitor Center. Registration is $15. A limited number of free tickets are reserved for Museum Members on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our session is sponsored by the fabulous Whitelines® notebooks and sketchpads. Whitelines® is generously supplying our artists with books of their unique paper to draw upon during the session! Come to the Brooklyn Museum and check us out!
