Join us Monday, Aug. 14th at the Windup Space for a fun night of life drawing with Valeria Voxx!

Only eleven sessions left 'til Dr. Sketchy’s Baltimore’s tenth anniversary—which might possibly be the last session ever! Will it be the last, or will it not—who can say? We won’t know for sure until the last minute, but if I were you, I’d get your sketching in while you can.

Will you ever get to draw Valeria Voxx in all her sparkly sideshow glory again? Is this the last time her heels will grace that red-and-yellow striped stage? Will this be the last time you’re asked to incorporate Tyrion Lannister, Rainbow Dash, and Snuffleupagus into a sketch of Valeria beating Russell with a pool noodle? Is this it? Is it the Big One? 

NO ONE KNOWS.

What will Valeria perform? What will she wear? Will she go out in an glittery explosion of rhinestones and defiance? Is this all just ballyhoo?

ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT.

Valeria Voxx, a.k.a. "The Velvet Valkyrie", may be one of everyone’s favorite models to ever cross our stage. She's left a thousand beautiful drawings in her wake if she’s left one. This second-generation sideshow vixen has performed in numerous venues in her native Baltimore—including the Lyric Opera House—as well as around DC and in tours and festivals up and down the East Coast. Not only that, she's held the door for many a year while the rest of us have been raced away on a snowy sled to Sketchy-ville. If this indeed turns out to be her last session, let’s do it up right, have some cocktails, and send her off in a blaze of sketches that will set fires through Baltimore’s art galleries for a decade.
