Dr. Sketchy's RVA is BACK!!! After a 1 month break, we are returning to take over the stage at our new home venue, Strange Matter!! You will now be able to find us there every 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 6-9pm! This month we are proud to bring you the sultry summer creature, the Illustrious, THE MUSE!!! Donning all her antlers, charms, and tassels, she will be bringing to life the mythos of the "NymphOf the Woods." She is mysterious, she is cunning, but most importantly, she will give you art monkeys some *amazing* poses!!.... And speaking of amazing....for the 2nd time ever in Dr. Sketchy's RVA history, we will be having LIVE music accompaniment throughout the session! For those of you who may not know, The Muse is co-producer with Dr. Sketchy's headmistress, Deanna Danger, of "The Amazing Stage Show!" Together the two dancers, with musicians The Great Zwerdling & Mister S, create some of the regions most thought provoking, thick with meaning burlesque & variety shows. The boys shall be playing you some of our subdued, exotic, and atmospheric tunes to set the mood for your drawing pleasure (and you may even get some hand drumming by hostess Deanna Danger herself)! Come get lost in the woods with us! Join us for 3 hours of cabaret figure drawing! Wednesday June 15th, at Strange Matter (929 W. Grace St., Richmond, Va).
