Join us April 16th at The Lair RVA when Dr.Sketchy's RVA and Lindy Avalon you back in time, with the art of Alphonse Mucha! We will be bringing a little Art Nouveau into your sketchbooks, so be prepared to party like it's the early 19th century!
Lindy Avalon is inspired by the music & glamor of bygone days. She's usually a Jazz Age gal, but for this month's Dr Sketchy's, she's reaching back to Fin d' Siecle Paris and the iconic works of Alphonse Mucha. Lindy has been delighting the RVA burlesque world with her creative energy and dancing skill for the past year.
Join our headmistress Melody Magpie and artistic mistresses Mina Corbeau and Saffron Soleil on Wednesday, March 19th from 7-10pm at our new location across from The Jefferson, THE LAIR (17 W Main, RVA). Admission is only $7, or $5 w/ student ID! Seating has been filling up quick in our sessions, be sure to get there early to get a good spot!
As always, one free Dr. Sketchy pass will be given away as a door prize! We'll also have 3 drawing contests for you to try your hand at winning some fabulous prizes!
