Lorelei Leisure is a burlesque performer that has been entertaining RVA for the past 4 years. With her love of music, camp and the styles of by-gone eras, she’s a little bit vintage, a little bit rock n roll. What better way to showcase her style than with her tribute to the 50s B Movie classic, Attack of the 50ft Woman? The story of a wealthy, troubled socialite, abandoned by her philandering husband, and what happens when she is attacked by a giant alien from Outer Space! This Glamazon is not going to waste this huge opportunity to tear up her town in a frenzy to exact her revenge. You don't want to miss this smashing session of Dr. Sketchy's!
Lorelei will be in Deepa du Jour’s The Richmond Burlesque Revue, May 24th, Cherrie Canary’s Hair Metal Benefit Show, June 13th. And is bringing back her very popular Burlesque Roulette Show, with Charlie, on August 9th. All at our home Gallery 5.
Join our headmistress Melody Magpie and artistic mistresses Mina Corbeau and Saffron Soleil on Wednesday, May 21 from 7-10pm at THE LAIR (17 W Main, RVA). Admission is only $7, or $5 w/ student ID! Seating has been filling up quick in our sessions, be sure to get there early to get a good spot!
As always, one free Dr. Sketchy pass will be given away as a door prize! We'll also have 3 drawing contests for you to try your hand at winning some fabulous prizes!
