Every now and then West Virginia gets to prove, that despite what the rest of the country thinks, it can have nice things. Charleston is getting her own branch of the world renown Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School. Headmaster Chase Henderson will be opening the doors on the first class March 20th, 2011. Join Vorel Sarkany and Kitty Killton for a tribute to Star Wars in a night of Dames, Drinking, and Drawing! All your favorites will be represented like Dom Vader, Boba Fettish, and Jar Jar Twinks (to be added in post production). May 20th at 7:00 pm in the Kanawha Player’s Theatre (309 Beauregard St., you know, down Washington Street on the East End). All mediums and skill levels welcome as long as you bring your own. And your over 18+. BYOB if your 21+.
