Dr. Sketchy’s returns to Toronto Tuesday, May 24th at the Drake Hotel with Dolly Berlin.

From January 2007 to August 2011, Brett Despotovich, Katherine Piro, and Brynne Kennedy ran Dr.Sketchy’s Toronto in the back of the famous Cameron House.

After being absent from the Toronto art scene for years, animation artists Jeremy Cardarelli and Lauri Lewis organized it’s return for a wildly successful two-year run at The Round in Kensington Market. The continue to run their popular Toons on Tap and other drawing events in the city.

In May 2016, Keith Berry, a career illustrator and graphic designer based in Toronto, revived Dr. Sketchy’s and relaunched it at the historic Drake Hotel giving burlesque figure-drawing fans a fresh take on the Anti-Art School.

Sessions will be held the last Tuesday of each month at The Drake Hotel - 1150 Queen Street West. Doors at 6:30pm. Drawing 7-10pm. $10 cover. 19+
