In 2009, Dr. Sketchy's did a flashmob at Art Basel. We had Nik Sin and Dante Posh and glittering girls from South Florida's burlesque scene. We also had Burning Dan spinning fire. Dan died last month. We was a profoundly kind, decent dude who egged you on to grand adventure, who was always up for creating art and magic. Our mutual friend Ronen V created this beautiful video. Rest in peace Dan.
Zombie Kennedys drawn in Dallas!
That's right, Dallas is notorious for the JFK assassination so we decided to do our best at giving the Kennedy's back to the world ....as zombies. La Donna Hearne was the the terrifyingly beautiful Jackie-O and her friend Vivienne Vermouth stepped in as JFK himself. Her self make up job was amazing and the poses we such a kick and fun to draw. This is one that's going to be hard to top, but we'll do our best. You can see the photos in our photo section or our branch. Due to grim and unfortunate events, our fabulous host Fondant Fancy was unable to be present for the Dr. Sketchy's Falmouth Halloween Special.
