Last weekend we participated in Dallas Texas' Industry Giants, a gaming, animation and special effects conference. We didn't post an advertisement for this one because it was a freebie we did for the conference that costs to attend the program on it's own and helped the art community get back in touch with keeping their drawing skills up. Many of the amazing artist that showed up admitted that they wanted to practice sketching models again and really appreciated that we were there for them. Jana Edele was our fabulous model and showed them how fun this can be with such a beautiful model.

May's Dr.Sketchy's session was fantastic. Elisa Post Madonna did a great job and The Sideshow Tragedy rounded out the evening and kept the fun going. We have a lot more great things planned so stay tuned for all the sketchy fun you can handle.

We recently had a VERY special Dr. Sketchy's session. I know that all of our sessions are special, but this one was extra-super-double-special. We had our tribute to dancer/actress/courtesan/international woman of mystery Lola Montez on her grave at Green-Wood Cemetery. Yes, it only seems right that since she is not capable of going to Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School, Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School should come to her.

Some may say that dancing on someone's grave is disrespectful, but Spider dancing I'm pretty sure is all right.
