The show must and DID go on!

Despite impending snow, Dr. Sketchy's Asbury Park hosted a Dark Carnival, featuring 4 circus folk as models: an aerialist, a bearded lady, a clown, and a fire breather (with imaginary flames, for indoor reasons). Sketchers came from far and wide to observe the wonders of the carnival, and take in the circus-like atmosphere. Bearded Lady Robbin Nite performed a burlesque routine, and Aerialist Agent Topchik performed on her lollipop lyra. Three rounds of sketching produced three prize winners.

Our aerialist started things off with 30 second poses on her lollipop lyra.

Then it got hot as our fire-breather took the stage with his torch.

A stand-off ensued between the gents when our clown meandered up to take the stage.

Our bearded lady was all smiles when she finally graced the stage.

After round 1, we invite the artists to show us their work. It's always such a challenge to choose a winner!
