With Halloween not long passed we thought we would have a little fun of our own here at Sketchy’s Bristol with a spooky spectacular.
Dressed to kill and with mischief on our minds we let loose our inner demons for Bristol’s most quirky sketchy session to date.
Slightly shorter than our usual sessions but with just as much entertainment to cram in we had one hell of a variety show for our audience.
To welcome all our wonderful artist’s Cabaret Abittor scared the day lights out of folks with they’re fiendish make up and un-naturally long legs, I must point out that they we’re our stilt walkers.
Once everyone was seated the lights went down and Bristol’s own Screaming Keating took to the stage with his own rendition of ‘Wilkommen’ to get our audience warmed up and in the mood for some serious sketching action.
Cue DJ Hammond’d B-Movie mix of music, the host ’B-movie Merkin Queen’ Lou-Leigh Blue who appeared to have had a slight accident with a pencil and a spider and Ramona Rosa had her pumpkins out.
Next up with welcomed our chaos creating, lovable 80’s character ‘Beetlejuice’ - throwing poses, bugs and burps all over the room. Under all that hair and extreme make-up we had the very talented Welsh lovely Sandy Sure who later performed at the Bristol Burlesque Festival with her Lizard routine, we hope taking off all that make up wasn’t to much trouble?
Last but not least we introduced the ‘Voodoo Queen of Burlesque’ and co-producer of the Bristol Burlesque Festival Tuesday Laveau to end what had been the oddest Dr Sketchy’s in Bristol to date. Dressed as the all seeing eye but with some damn fine Go-Go boots, Tuesday’s tassels gave everyone a run for they’re money.
The art work that our audience displayed was incredible, it captured the vibrance and originality of session from start to finish.
Thank you Bristol once again for making Dr.Sketchy’s such a success we cannot wait for our Christmas special on the 1st December back at our abode of The Stag and Hounds.

Fantastic!
