On Monday, June 10th, Dr. Sketchy’s Baltimore will be 5 years old.
What started as a wobbly, awkward life drawing event run by two young, gorgeous, inexperienced artists with the assistance of four drinking buddies (one of whom showed up drunk) in the cramped, upstairs dining room of the now-defunct Dionysus Bar & Lounge, has ballooned into a life drawing extravaganza run by two young, strikingly gorgeous artists, routinely attended by 50 or more and which regularly threatens the Windup Space’s good name, fire insurance, and proprietor’s beard.
We’ve been on the nightly news and in the paper. There have been Australian fan dancers,
This may very well be the last time the lovely Roma Mafia poses for Dr. Sketchy's Baltimore, as I write, she's preparing to move to San Francisco, if she's not on the road already. Who knows though, maybe she'll come back to visit and we'll get lucky--you never know. She went out with a bang though. Take a look at the video above, Lord knows, words can't do her session justice.

Next Dr. Sketchy's Baltimore is April 22nd with Sophia Sunday of Gilded Lily Burlesque at the Windup Space.
You remember Sophia, right?
Easily one of my favorite sessions of all time. (That was also the most difficult video we've ever done, btw. Keeping the sound synced "by hand" in the Mac's free video editing software is like trying to keep your car exactly at 55 mph while a squad car tails you for twenty miles.)
You did watch that video, right? If you did, and you think I still need to sell this session, you've got problems ol' Dr. Sketchy doesn't
