We are thrilled to announce that local burlesque personality, Pepper Mills will be managing the Indianapolis branch of Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School!
Pepper has been performing locally and nationally in the burlesque scene the past four years. In addition to performing, Pepper brings a successful track record of producing shows, events and fundraisers to the table in addition to a love of all artistic mediums.
What does Pepper have to say about her future plans for the Indianapolis branch?
"My goal is to develop connections with local art schools and different medium artists while expanding awareness of the brand in the city. A respectful, fun and rewarding experience for the artists and models is my baseline and where I can go from there makes me really excited."

We are pleased to announce that the next Dr. Sketchy Indianapolis is Saturday, November 30th at The Casba in Broad Ripple. The event begins at 7 p.m. and cover is $5. The theme of the night is Burlesque Beauties, and our models for the night Desda Mae Q Moana & Darling Dollie are ready to pose for your pencils. Woohoo! Drawing materials will be provided - but please feel free to bring your own materials too!

Last night was a very fun Dr. Sketchy. We were honored once again to have the Indy Web Comics group join us ( http://www.facebook.com/IndyWebcomics ). They are an amazingly talented bunch of characters. Desde did a fabulous job posing and everyone had a great time all around. Hero House Comics ( http://www.facebook.com/herohousecomics ) donated some lovely prizes. It was also the birthdays of a few of the art monkeys so after about an hour everything became really blurry.
