One of the best things about North Dakota is that there still are frontiers to pioneer.  Within the past couple of years Fargo has seen its first roller derby team and burlesque troupe.  So obviously the first session was appropriately titled "Exploring New Frontiers".  Our first models were yours truly (The Alabaster Disaster) dressed to the nines in her cowboy garb, and her good friend Mr. Levi Shipley donning his finest feathers.  (It's not everyday you get a pair of tall dark and handsome fellers like us to grace the same stage.. HA!)

We had a pretty diverse group, ranging from experienced drawers to people enjoying their first figure drawing session.  We were also lucky enough to have had prizes and advertising from our friends at The High Plains Reader.  

I'm pretty excited for the next session.  We are aiming to have a session devoted to the Exquisite Corpse next time around.
