On a cold December night, Phoebe L'amour and new model Brianna heated up the Dr. Sketchy's stage during the art opening of Movie Freaks & Special Effects Geeks at the Rothick Art Haus. A shout out goes to all the artists who faced the winter night air. Honestly though, would you let a little thing like the elements stop you from drawing sexy Leeloo and the rebellious Mara Jade? I think not.

On December 10th, Dr. Sketchy's Anaheim will be hosting a free "Nerdgasm" Movie Inspsired drawing session during the Opening Reception for Movie Freaks and Special Effects Geeks at the Rothick Art Haus. Come see Work from Hollywood Character and Visual Effects Artists based on your favorite movies such as Ghostbusters, The Fifth Element, Aliens, Star Wars and more. Live Models will pose throughout the night in Movie Inspired-Themes ready to celebrate and inspire the Nerd in all of us.

The excitement was high as ApocaLips, Savannah Rose, Phoebe L'amour and Krystal X Kaos came together and inspired every artist lucky enough to attend. We can't thank them enough for their shining personalities, awesome poses, and high skill level in geek speak. Many new artists, who have never been to a Dr. Sketchys session before, attended that day and were quickly welcomed into the family by our veteran members. It was truly a great site

On October 8th, Dr. Sketchy's invaded the opening of Monsterberfest at the Rothick Art Haus in Anaheim, CA. Curated by Irene Mendonis, Monsterberfest features over 30 artists celebrating their love of horror and beer. Dr. Sketchy's Anaheim MC Glenn Arthur brought Zombie Loren Mesick, Clockwork Kat Alexander and Were-kitty Krystal X Kaos to the stage for a free provocative horrorific session.
Monstoberfest will be on display at the Rothick Art Haus until November.
