Our literary themed session was a best seller, with art monkeys and literary buffs alike clamouring to see Brigitte de Brief take up the mantle of Sketchy muse. It was a night of prose, pose and pervalicious poetry that is definitely one for the books!

Brigitte de Brief, in whiskey-swigging-author-attire, had us hooked from the word go! We couldn't wait for her story to undress.. I mean, unfold.

Calling all cunning linguists,
The Christchurch chapter of Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School present an evening of life drawing laced with literature. It's a night of bookish burlesque that's bound to get bawdy.
Brigitte de Brief stars as our prolific poet, producing prose after pose. She'll flash us some fiction and we'll inscribe her character in our sketchbooks.
Your hosts for the evening are well known authwhores Tawdry Trainwreck and Rose (by any other name would smell as sweet) Reckless.
Local performance poet, Kimberly Holmes, will steam up your reading glasses with

June marked the second anniversary of Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School in Christchurch. It's been a stupendous couple of years filled with breathtaking burlesque, scintillating sketching and large quantities of bawdy jokes, booze and boobs. Our birthday session was one big Party Party Party!

To get the party started and celebrate in style, crowd favourite and
The Christchurch Sketchy Girls, Tawdry and Rosie, paid a visit to our sketchiest sponsor - Gordon Harris. Purveyors of supplies for fine art, design and all kinds of creative pursuits. Their shiny new premises are nestled on Southwark St - which runs between Madras and Manchester Streets in our (battered but beloved) CBD. The bright, spacious shop is a haven for creative inspiration and a supply mecca for professionals, the general public and - today in particular - a chic designer and a scantily clad artiste!

It's been two stupendous years since Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School launched in Christchurch. So we're going to celebrate with a birthday party like no other! With fun, frivolity and fine ass females.
The legendary Gracie Hart is gonna get the party started. She'll take to the sketchy stage to pose and perform with such sass we'll be breathless.
We'll spoil our art monkeys with presents and prizes. So get your tickets quick, and we'll see you at the Canterbury Bowling club in your glad rags.
At the end of the drawing antics the sketchy girls invite you to join them at

Our latest sketchy escapade was all about unsavoury sorts. Bad girl Jesika Rabid made her sketchy debut as our debauched delinquent muse and nicked off with our hearts in the process.
Our art monkeys were all booked upon entry - mug shots captured the usual suspects, as well as some fresh recruits! Rosie Reckless was on hand to play warden to our convicts; who were on their baddest behaviour.
