Dr. Sketchy's NYC is hosting a surprise flashmob session in Coney Island this Saturday, August 28th!
Featuring the gorgeous Kiki Valentine, host and producer of the Sunday Show, she'll appear as a mermaid princess, complete with bright pink mermaid tail.
Come hang with us in Coney Island as we eat corndogs, draw Kiki and celebrate the end of the summer.
The event starts at 6pm. The exact location will be announced via Molly Crabapple's Twitter account - @mollycrabapple

Sketchy’s of Saturday 31st of July was our first look at the newly refurbished Mezz in the Twisted Pepper. After a little planning and some ‘Changing Rooms’-style fast-motion furniture shifting, our “big strong men” DJ Brian and photographer Peter of Griffpics.com had fine-tuned our new set up. With a small stage for us to model on and what seemed like a lot more seating than usual, the new layout was definitely a success.
The room filled fast and was soon jam-packed with both new and old faces. The theme this month was Candy and a super big thank you to Siobhan S. for baking and bringing AMAZING cookies with her for us all to feast on during the day. Modelling
Hey SKETCHERS! As we said last night, PINK NOISE, the art zine is featuring Dr. Sketchy Auckland in its pages in the near future. The wonderful Katie has offered you lucky members the chance to design the cover for Pink Noise, to appear on the cover of the issue featuring the Dr. Sketchy article.
To submit work for the cover of Pink Noise you need only do the following:
- put together a portfolio of your work which must include one sketch done at a Dr. Sketchy session
