Many thanks to Zoe Reid for her interview with Venus Starr and many thanks also to editor Uther Dean for wading through the masses of photos of beautiful models to select the final cut. Full article can be read on Salient's website.

Our July session, featured the lovely Lethal Rejection and R2-Destroy from Huntington's own Jewel City Roller Girls! We had an awesome time at the Kanawha Player's completely with roller girls, drinking, and drawing. It was awesome seeing all the people to beat the heat to come out...into more heat.
They took the starting positions for their one minutes poses.
A couple of weeks ago we had our "American Steampunk" session. The models were Landship Lt. Nathaniel Flint (aka Nate Powell) and Lady Kirst Callahan. They were both absolutely wonderful and I saw a lot of great artwork come out of that session. Our photographer, Jon Smith, did an excellent job in capturing the models poise and personalities. Our entertainment for the evening was Michael Kennedy, who played an authentic industrial revolution-era concertina and a singing saw (which was absolutely amazing!) He also told some really cool old-time stories. If anybody every needs this type of performer, please let us know and we will happily send you his contact information! Pictures can be found on our photo page, broken into two groups: Models/performers and Artists/spectators.
Our next session, which is scheduled
Due to a scheduling conflict with our venue we will be changing our Punta Gorda event to the LAST Wednesday of the Month. I'm working on updating all the various websites with schedules posted so if you catch something somewhere that I missed let me know!
Wednesday, August 3rd we held our event at the fabulous Torch Bistro in Punta Gorda. Our Muse for the evening was the uber-talented Angela Hicks. She dazzled us with a series of poses that while reviewing the photos from the night, its hard to believe she was standing still and not mid-dance. As promised Angela's style, a fusion of cultural dances and the influence of her own gypsy heritage where evident in her poses. The props will included her sharp-double
