➧ What is Dr. Sketchy's?
Since 2005, Dr. Sketchy's has been the name in alternative drawing. From illegal flashmobs to the Museum of Modern Art, Dr. Sketchy's has brought artists a rule-breaking cocktail of dames, drinking and drawing. Dr. Sketchy's branches draw in over a hundred cities around the globe, from Akron to Zagreb. Whether you're an artstar or a scribbling newbie, Dr. Sketchy's is the perfect place to get your fill of life-drawing
Dr. Sketchy's is the brainchild of artist Molly Crabapple
This website is the official site for all licensed Dr. Sketchy's branches. If you hear of a branch, but they do not have a profile on this site, be warned that they will not provide our authentic Sketchy's experience. Check our Branches page for your local branch!
After a slight delay to proceedings (alright, Leda forgot part of the costume) we were off with a bang. The perfect start to the Halloween weekend, we joined forces with Cassette 9 Markets to indulge our sketchers in an afternoon of free booze, creepy cupcakes & VAMPIRA!
A big thanks to Karolina Kat for being an amazingly hot lady, even covered in the blood of babies. Oh & thanks Becks for all the free beer. You bring vampires & artists together.
This was overheard from our Magician Model: Russian Roulette with a broken bottle and paper bags, floating masks, swallowing and regurgitating razors, producing silks...got a lot of things up my sleeve for Dr. Sketchys... Assisted by the lovely and talented Roberto Cannessa, Mistress of Mystery... classy and sassy...
Today, the Lethbridge Branch is getting all Mysteriouso and Magickally with Frater Tham and his assistant, Roberto. We have teamed up with the Southern Alberta Art Gallery as part of their Happy Hour series to bring you this incredible act for your viewing and drawing pleasure. If you are a member of the SAAG, admission is free, non-members $5! A total steal! We'll have our usual drawing contests

I was right, it has been the perfect place to start our new branch and we have been really happy there for the past few months.
However regular attendees will have noted that lately we’ve all been getting to know each other intimately as we squeeze in to the Mezz every month, it’s starting to become a little less than cosy and last month’s move to The Main Stage Room was a success and a gave us all a bit of elbow and leg room. Fortunately for the Twisted Pepper, they have recently secured a weekly Saturday
We are very excited to announce that alongside our models Postmodern Sleeze and Sadistic Sedition, and performances from the lovely Lilly De Valle, we will be joined by the beautiful and talented Roisin of Apollonia Tribal Bellydance.
Tribal Style Bellydance can best be described as a stylistic evolution of Traditional Bellydance with an earthy dance vocabulary grounded in deep muscular control and isolation, favouring a classical and “antique” aesthetic with its costuming. Roisin will be performing and also striking a few Tribal Bellydance poses for your sketchy pleasure.
If you can’t wait until Saturday to check out Roisin and her dance partner Aoife, on Friday night at
