Hello Art Monkeys!
The MTA, in all it's benveolent wisdom, decided to shut down the L train for the entire weekend. That left us stranded in Williamsburgh with nothing to do but drink and draw beautiful women. Que Horreur!
Now we at Dr. Sketchy's love new and inventive themes, Clown girl, Lion and Tamer, Glamourpuss, ect. But some themes are so basic, so primal, that you can't go long without giving into the collective unconcious.
Which is why this week, we at Dr. Sketchy gave you the sublime and timeless beauty of ….Girls with Swords.

Well, one girl at least. The illustrous illustrator Daeta, bewitching in a leather fringe bikini and samuari sword, got a chance to see what it's like on
Hello Art Monkeys!
We've increased the number of Dr. Sketchy's a month in order to contain the sheer number of howling, flying art monkeys screaming for more hot Dr. Sketchy action. And for the first time, we didn't have horrible weather!
This time, Glamazon Scarlett Sinclair strutted and posed around the stage to the strings of Dusty Springfield. We had more serious artists this time around. Are in danger of becomming respectable? Only time will tell.

Hello Art Monkeys!
We are enjoying an unnaturally warm winter here in NYC, so this Dr. Sketchy's was hot indeed. Our first male models, Ian and Gavin, did acrobatics on stage as Lion and Tamer, delighting and amazing the crowd with thier liberal interpretation of "Whip it".
But again, why say so much when we have so much to see? This month's (many) photos come from the talented camera of Dr. Simon, who braved the 1-9 train to be here.
Our Hosts,Ms. Molly Crabapple and Ms. A.V Phibes, explaining the rules of Dr. Sketchy's and what happens to the unfortunate souls who don't tip the models
Here they are again, in more "ready for press release" poses.

As before, we started off with fast 1 and 2 mintue poses.
Hello Art Monkeys!Nor wind nor rain or dark of afternoon could keep us from having another Dr. Sketchy's! Outside it may be winter, but we made the Lucky Cat hot hot hot. Decked in jewels and white feathers, Ms. Amber Ray presided over Dr. Sketchy's like a queen. We moved the time to 3pm, which led to more people, more contests, more drinking, and much more fun.Enough talk, what good are words when we have so many pretty pictures?

Ms. Amber Ray holding court over the lowly Art Monkeys. Same format as before, 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 mintue poses.

All our reserved seats sold out, and people spilled out onto the floor. Ms. Ray was posing to Iggy Pop's "Sister Midnight." Sandman fans know what I'm talkin'
