Branch Blog - Salt Lake City, UT
Salt Lake city is brimming with weddings this time of year, and all the white lace and pink bouquets is getting a little old. So we decided to mix it up by putting on an "Anti-Wedding" themed event! Many thanks to our brilliant counterparts in the Philippines (from whom we stole the idea). It's sure to be THE bridal event of the season, so don't miss it!
Our August event will celebrate the upcoming "back to school" season with tiny plaid pleated skirts and knee-high socks (which, let's be honest, is a far more appealing image than the ever-inflating tuition costs and ever-deflating importance of a four year degree). We'll be featuring the ravishing beauty Miss Jolie Rouge, of local dance troope Fever! Burlesque.
We'll have the usual wacky drawing contests, with prizes provided by sponsors The Blue Plate Diner and The Hive Gallery. We are also super amped (to use the local dialect) to
Our sixth event here in the SLC was a smashing success! We featured models Annie Defae and Meg Hinds of local belly-dancing troope "Blue Lotus Collaborative"... and they were absolutely stunning! Don't believe my hype? Check out this ten-minute pose:
Yep, pretty much the most impressive pose in the history of Dr. Sketchy's (not to mention that bangin' bod!)
See all the pics here...
Our June event was a hit!
Our models were local SLC rock stars Allison Martin and Dago Marino of the electronic dance band My Dead Ego (do yourself a favor and listen to their new EP for free on their Facebook page!) and The Last Look, local alt. country indie rock band. Our theme was "trashy 80's pop music wanabee", and I think we pinned that down perfectly! With Allison starting the night as the prego, cigarette smoking, leggings wearing vamp...
...and ending as a Madonna/Pat Benatar/Marla Singer character in a black

Our June event is comin' up fast, and it's sure to be a great one!
This time around we'll be featuring local musicians Allison Martin and Dago Marino of My Dead Ego and The Last Look who will be modeling in their dirtiest animal prints and neons and cut-offs to create an 80's drawing experience like nothing that's been done before! There will be the usual drawing contests, with my new and improved constantly evolving voting system, and some NEW and awesome prizes!
As a special treat we will also have LIVE MUSIC by Alison and Dago and their band after the drawing part of the show,

Our May event was a Tranny Tableau in anticipation of the Utah Gay Pride festival to be held in Salt Lake June 3-5. It was a dynamic display of the best and most beautiful the SLC has to offer!
With so many models, we did the pose times a bit different and had the first half of the show with a set of four fifteen minutes poses which featured Peter Priesthood, the "genderfuck" extraordinaire Glitter, Marilyn Go Lightly and, the infamous Princess Kennedy. The ladies were dazzling, delighting and challenging the Art Monkeys and giving all in attendance an eyeful of long legs and lean figure!
