Hello Art Monkeys!
After a small hiatus, Dr. Sketchy's is back and badder than ever. The lovely Ms. Allison flipped and flapped her fans for us, for which we are eternally grateful.

Molly was out of town this week, so hosting duties fell on Co-Founder A.V Phibes and Yours Truly.
Ms. Allison her fans, and her bodacious back tattos.

Our first contest had Ms. Allison do a classic fan
The temperature just keeps rising at Dr. Sketchy's. This week Amber Ray set the bar yet again for costumed models. Appearing just purrfect as a Spooky Kabuki Kitty. With fangs no less! Our increased prices didn't stop hordes of Art Monkeys. Amazing photos by Gary Winter Follow

Ye-ow! Thats one lucky act. I'm pretty sure we'll all end up on furry stroke sites now, but man it's worth it.
Bienvenue Art Monkeys!
I like Paris in the summer when it sizzles, but I like Dr. Sketchy's most of all. We all had francophillatic fun with the lovely Ms. Gigi LaFemme, who's no April Fool. Her leopard print panties and red sparkly pasties practically o-la-la-ed the entire crowd away.

Inside and Outside the Lucky Cat, our venerable HQ.
Since we wont have this opportunity for another 7 years, we decided to play a small prank on our beloved audience. By pretending Gigi had not shown up and we had uh, hum a "replacement". Gaze upon it and despair.

Scary. But enough of my pasty chest. Lets scrub our eyes clean with more Ms.
Spring is when a young man's affection turns to hot roller-derby girls posing at boozy life drawing classes. What better way to celebrate the fairest of the seasons then with Joey Hardcore of the Gotham Girls Roller Derby posing for the delection of art monkeys? Posing in skates, no less.
Enough jibber-jabber. On to the photos!

Our new seating arrangement has kept most people off the floor, but space is still scanty. When one group failed to show up, Molly gave the precious, precious couch spot to the first person who guessed her favorite color (Hint, it's the same color as her other two favorite things: money and Grasshopper martinis.)

Hello Art Monkeys!
The MTA, in all it's benveolent wisdom, decided to shut down the L train for the entire weekend. That left us stranded in Williamsburgh with nothing to do but drink and draw beautiful women. Que Horreur!
Now we at Dr. Sketchy's love new and inventive themes, Clown girl, Lion and Tamer, Glamourpuss, ect. But some themes are so basic, so primal, that you can't go long without giving into the collective unconcious.
Which is why this week, we at Dr. Sketchy gave you the sublime and timeless beauty of ….Girls with Swords.

Well, one girl at least. The illustrous illustrator Daeta, bewitching in a leather fringe bikini and samuari sword, got a chance to see what it's like on
Hello Art Monkeys!
We've increased the number of Dr. Sketchy's a month in order to contain the sheer number of howling, flying art monkeys screaming for more hot Dr. Sketchy action. And for the first time, we didn't have horrible weather!
This time, Glamazon Scarlett Sinclair strutted and posed around the stage to the strings of Dusty Springfield. We had more serious artists this time around. Are in danger of becomming respectable? Only time will tell.

Here co-host Molly Crabapple is seen drawing despite a fever and lurgy. Flu or not, the show must go on!
