Good day, Art Monkeys!

Recently, we had a very special session at the Roger Smith Hotel for the Social Media Art Camp (or SMArt Camp - you see, it's almost an acronym, except that the last letter is the whole word, but look! It spells "smart"!) Raquel Reed was the model and it was fancy and colourful and awesome and photographer Chloe Rice caught it all on film.

Hello, Art Monkeys!

Recently, the Olympic Games were held in our own continent, somewhere in the frozen northlands, and we held a session of Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School to celebrate. Now, you may not know this, but despite our finely toned, perfectly proportioned and developed physiques, most of us behind Dr. Sketchy are not particularly sports fans or even entirely aware of what sports are or when and how they are played. However, we are huge fans of people in scant clothing bending in ways that God never intended. That is why we are really into Olympic gymnastics. Also yoga. And medieval torture devices.

So it was that we had contortionist Ekat bending away for us in our Olympic tribute.

Dr. Sketchy's came to the Museum of Modern Art on March 5th in a special workshop just for NYC high schoolers. The dazzling Dame Cuchifrita and Miss Southern Comfort posed for all the young artists, who drew some brilliant work alongside Molly Crabapple. Greetings, Art Monkeys! It is time for another installment of our Art Star series, saluting Molly's artist friends who are way more famous than you could ever hope to become. Hello, Art Monkeys! Earlier this month, Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School held a special session in the Museum of Sex. Yes, it's a museum full of art and sex. If there is any more appropriate venue for Dr. Sketchy, it would have to be a clothing-optional distillery in France. Unfortunately, we don't have access to one of those, so the Museum of Sex it was.

Modelling for this event was the lovely Dame Cuchifrita and taking the pictures was Vishnu Hoff (who I am assuming has a brother named Jack).

The Museum of Sex is located in midtown Manhattan, meaning that coat she is wearing is in

Salutations, singes d'art!

Bienvenue to le Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art Blog! At the last session, we went back in time and location to Paris during the fin de siècle, the heyday of the Moulin Rouge, when anything could happen, especially if it involved syphilis! It was there that we met

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (as portrayed by Nik Sin) and

Marie-Charlotte (as portrayed by Dante Posh).

Oh la la! Or as they say in Paris, "Oye como va!"
